SNII is a new-generation
SA business incubator
We are a joint initiative of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality and SEDA, supported by various South African and international multi-national firms committed to the growth and development of medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs).
For small business owners and entrepreneurs with visionary ideas involving technology, we are the preferred starting point and strategic partner. Since our inception, in excess of 96 small businesses and new start-ups have become profitable, sustainable and award-winning ICT businesses and enterprises with the support of SNII. Some of our clients have also grown to become global economy participants, receiving international acclaim for their ideas, products and success.
Our products and services empower clients through general business support services, shared office and technology infrastructures and training interventions. Through our incubation programmes they gain access to local and international business networks, mentorship and coaching, and access to funding among other services.
SNII AT ITS CORE
When you partner with SNII, you automatically reduce your operating costs and gain a dynamic, secure and nurturing environment. Our goal is to strengthen, support and develop your business and help you transform an idea from a concept to something concrete and profitable.
The incubator and our staff are driven by a vision which acknowledges that small businesses and entrepreneurs are catalytical for economic growth. Secondly, we have found that technology ideas emanating from the SMME sector in South Africa are world-class innovations that address needs of business and industry while supporting socio-economic development.
We believe that a viable ICT SMME sector in South Africa can only be advanced through close cooperation between role-players. SNII is positioned at the point where the efforts of government and the private sector converge to advance entrepreneurs and small business.
We are a strategic partner for corporates, and enterprise development resources with deserving and high potential small enterprises and technology start-ups.
